Day 8 {Freebie} Borders and $8.00 giveaway to my TpT store!

Hi all! Day 8 of my Freebies and I barely am making this in time! It's 11:34 where I am, so if you are in another time zone, you probably already thought I forgot about you!! Nope- I didn't, just having a case of the Sundays which means procrastination to the max :) I got very distracted making a popcorn-themed main idea and details activity for my kiddos tomorrow, so I blame it on that.

I have started playing around with creating {BORDERS}!!! As if my current obsession list isn't long enough already, I think I have found another thing to tack onto the end of it. I love all the borders that are out there, but I thought I would give it a shot- just in time for my Day 8 {Freebie}!

This is my first try at borders and I was just playing around, but if you think you could put any of these to use- feel free to snatch up up {HERE} from my TpT store and use them for your freebies or products :)

As promised at the beginning of the week, I am going to give three people $8.00 worth for products (of their choice) from my TpT store! I am still new to the blogging world and I don't know how to do the fancy schmancy giveaway entries and generators, so I have to go with the basics here. If you want to enter the giveaway, you must be a follower of my TpT store and my blog (to be honest, I don't even know how to check and see if you are, so on your honor haha) and leave a comment on this blog post saying what your best Halloween costume was- either as a kid or adult. I will have the comment entries open until Wednesday night and will then do a random number generator to figure out which three comments are the winners. Any of you expert bloggers who want to help me set up a fancy schmancy giveaway for my 1,000 follower giveaway down the road from now- let me know!

Alright friends. I'm going to jump into bed for my 4.5 hours of sleep before the week starts off with a bang. It is spirit week at our school and tomorrow is Mismatch Monday, so at least I don't have to worry about what I wear because pretty much anything goes!

Thanks for being a part of my 8 Days of Freebies!!

  1. What a great giveaway! My all time favorite Halloween costume was when I dressed up like Dolly Parton. I won first prize and got a pink scooter.

I too am having a giveaway if you would like to check it out.
    The Hive

  2. My favorite costume was a scarecrow.
I'm a follower of your blog and store.

  3. I love your stuff. My favorite costume was when I was an Angel in second grade. I remember that my halo fell into the toilet during the school day and I refused to wear it after that. Probably tmi, right! LOL Anyway, I was the angel without the halo for the rest of the school day.

  4. I think my best costume and probably the easiest one I could be was a cheerleader!

I follow your tpt store and blog!

  5. I really like your cute stuff and thanks for sharing all your ideas.

  6. I once dressed as a 50s style boy...think American Graffiti. My fourth graders honestly had no idea it was me when they walked in the room!

  7. I had a super cute monster costume when I was in first or second grade. I remember falling in love with it because it was my first costume that had a fabric mask instead of the plastic ones with a string.

If you need any donations for future giveaways let me know!

  8. Thanks so much for the borders! I follow your blog and store. I think my best Halloween costume was when I dressed up as Viola Swamp. The kids loved it!

  9. Thanks for the borders! My favorite Halloween costume was when my mom made me Raggedy Ann. She took red yarn and even made me a great wig. I was in the newspaper for best costume!

    1. I used your borders today on my very first item for my TpT store.
Check it out if you get a chance!

  10. Thank you! My favorite Halloween costume when I was a child was a Sorceress. My mom and grandma made my costume and it was spectacular!! amyswan20 at gmail dot com

  11. It would have to be my Indian Princess costume when I was in Kindergarten. I had really long brown hair in braids and an adorable Indian dress with moccasins. I won a trophy for it. :) learning4keeps at gmail dot com

  12. MY favorite costume from when I was younger was when my mom made me look like a number die...super original and I won 2nd place in my school the way the freebies you did were awesome

  13. In Australia, we never celebrated Halloween when I was growing up. I remember a costume my mum made me for a school concert though! She drew and then cut out white fabric bones for my entire body and sewed them onto black pants and a black top. For the concert, we did this scary skeleton dance under UV light, and because you couldn't see the outline of our bodies, it really looked like we were skeletons!

  14. My favorite Halloween costume was a hand sewn Belle from Beauty and the Beast costume. I always wanted to be like Belle when I grew up.

    Pixy Stix and Teacher Tricks

  15. Loving all of your things Krista and thanks for sharing your talents. My favorite costume was a huge pumpkin my mom and neighbor sewed for me. I am so upset that my sisters tossed it when they were cleaning. I would have love to have it for my kids.

  16. I am a follower of your blog and TPT store. My favorite costume was a gypsy costume.

  17. Your stuff always gets rave reviews from my students. They love the monsters. I have a few that have started to make monsters on their own. Thanks for all you do to keep my classroom smiling. Can't wait to use the boarders.

  18. I am now a follower of your blog and TPT store (saw your post on Smedley's Smorgasboard FB page). I would love to add some of your clipart to my collection! My favorite costume as a kid was when I dressed as the Queen of Hearts card. My oldest brother hand drew the cards on poster boards and I wore a foil crown and had red rouge on my cheeks. I felt soooo pretty!
